This years Buck-A-Block squares will be the CIRCULAR LOG CABIN. This is the same pattern that was used for the 2025 show. It has been requested they be made in groups of 4 coordinating blocks using white on white for the background. Please bring your finished blocks to any guild meeting. Proceeds from the sale of the blocks will be used to help cover operating costs for the upcoming year, in which there will be no quilt show. We will be selling blocks at the same locations we plan to show our raffle quilt, including the Fabric Frenzy and the N.E. Quilt Expo.
The most requested blocks from the last quilt show included Christmas and purple fabrics. However, almost all the blocks were sold. Some additional ideas might include other holiday-themed blocks (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day/4th of July, Thanksgiving), masculine, juvenile. No kits will be provided this year.
A diagram has been added to the instructions, showing the unfinished dimensions of the various segments. Also added is a note that all measurements are unfinished unless otherwise stated. The block should measure 12.5” x 12.5” unfinished.
