Program Schedule for 2025-26

All meetings should be the 1st Monday of each month except Labor Day and if News Years day falls on a Monday. VFW in Hudson – 9 am

Weather cancellation policy:  We follow the lead of the Hudson, NH, School system.  If the Hudson Department of Education cancels school due to weather, the guild meeting will be rescheduled for the following Monday.  If the following Monday is canceled by chance, the guild meeting will not be rescheduled a second time.

May 4, 2026 Meeting

  • Our May speaker will be guild member Lynn Flaherty. Lynn will be presenting a trunk show chronicling her quilting journey.
  • We will also have a paper piecing workshop on how to make the Hannah Dustin logo after the meeting.

May 7-9, 2026 – HDQG Quilt Retreat

  • Quilt Retreat at Hudson VFW – May 7th, 8th, and 9th. (Thur, Fri, and Sat) The cost will be $50.00. Includes meals for the three days. There is limited sewing machine space, so first come, first served. However there will also be an option for those who are doing hand work only. STILL SEATS AVAILABLE!

June 1, 2026 Alpine Grove, 19 S. Depot Road, Hollis, NH

  • Organized by Marie Davido and Beverly Fazio, our June luncheon is scheduled for June 1, 2026. The luncheon will be held in the Skylight Room at the Alpine Grove in Hollis NH from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
  • They will be serving Breakfast Brunch which includes: Coffee, Tea & Juices, Fresh Fruit Display, Assorted Muffins, Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Home Fries and Waffles served with Strawberry, Whipped Cream & Warm Maple Syrup.
  • Due to the rising cost of food we will be charging $30.00 per person. You can purchase your ticket from Marie DeVito or Beverly Fazio with either check or cash starting at our September meeting until the cutoff date… May 13, 2026.
  • Hope all will plan to come and have a good time.

February 2, 2026 Meeting

  • Auction – Adonica Burns February will be the Auction Meeting. In order to accommodate the Auction there will be no Show and Tell, UFO, Goodie Corner, Fat Quarters or Door Prizes. Friends and visitors are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Looking forward to our annual Auction. We have many great items to bid on for both the silent auction and the live auction.
We have an added feature this year. There will be some great items that we will be raffling off. The chances will be three for a $1.00.
We also have books and rulers that we will be selling separately a minimal cost.
Bring you check books, dollars, and most importantly yourself and friends!

March 2, 2026 Meeting

  • David’s House Workshop Following the regular meeting – Barbara Griffey / Beth Dibble
  • UFO Challenge: Finished project for February AND March will seen at our March meeting. Your UFO to work on for March is #1. And February’s is/was #9.
  • Sign ups for the Connecticut bus trip will continue. Bus cost is $75.00, includes the Bus Driver’s tip and entrance into the event. Parking will be available at the VFW parking lot.
  • Quilt Retreat at the Hudson VFW – May 7th, 8th, and 9th. (Thur, Fri, and Sat). Sign up sheets will also be available in March. The cost will be $50.00. Includes meals for the three days.   • Volunteers needed for selling RAFFLE TICKETS AT EVENTS for our 2026 Quilt Raffle, signups continue at the March meeting.
  • Please pick up your raffle tickets for our 2026 Quilt Raffle. $20.00 bundles to be paid at the time of pick up. Remember, this is a requirement to maintain your membership in good standing.

March 16, 2026 Fun Day – Quilting Holiday

Look forward to a Monday of sewing and socializing with your fellow Hannah Dustin members. Bring your own lunch. Snacks and desserts will be available along with coffee, tea, and cold drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite snacks and desserts to share.

Tables will be set up for games of Quilto. Bring fat quarters and thimbles!

I will be taking a head count to accommodate the sewing machines and games.
Brenda will also be setting up her ACCUCUT, so if you have any fabrics you wish to ACCUCUT, seek her out.

April 6, 2026 Meeting

  • David Serota – Lecture / Trunk Show

At our April meeting, our guest speaker, David Sirota, will be presenting a lecture and trunk show. In order to give him ample time for his presentation, it has been decided to hold off on our regular show & tell, David’s House show & tell, and UFO challenge show & tell. David’s House quilts and donations will still be accepted but the quilts will not be shown. The April
UFO challenge show & tell as well as the drawing will take place in May.

  • HDQG Challenge Quilt 2025/2026 (Persis Robbins and Patty Doucette)

The items for the HDQG Challenge will be displayed and voted on at the April meeting.

Reminder: Finished items are due at the April 2026 meeting.

Rules for the 2025-2026 America’s Birthday Challenge

  1. Make any project no larger than 40 inches
  2. Must use the provided fabric square, on the front of the project visible to all.
  3. It must be quilted.
  4. This project will be shown at the April 2026 meeting.
  5. This can be anything – a table runner, quilt, placemat, bag, jacket.
  6. Think out of the box and have fun!

April 8-11, 2026 – AQS QuiltWeek – New England

  • CONNECTICUT BUS TRIP – AQS QuiltWeek – New England, taking place April 8-11, 2026, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. HDQG will be conducting a bus trip. We still have openings for the bus trip, see Ann Lynds or Paula Baldwin at the April 6th meeting. Cost is $75.00. Leaving from the VFW parking lot at 7am.
